My costume design work demonstrates advanced patterning and fabrication skills, from complex structural builds to garments engineered for extreme movement and durability. These projects showcase precision, problem-solving, and creative construction—all directly transferable to the design of wearable technology where fit, function, and user needs must seamlessly align.

CORSET COVERS
Designed, drafted and graded the patterns, sourced the materials, built around 10 different variants for a musical. Utilized button-hole sewing machine.
Materials used: Cotton weave, interfacing, and lace.

SALLY'S DRESS
Designed, drafted the patterns, sourced the materials, and built the dress.
I was able to draft
the pattern and build the entire dress all in one day.

WOMEN'S OUTFIT
Built the full outfit.
Materials used: Wool, cotton, silk, velvet, zippers, and interfacing.
1940's WOMEN'S JACKET
Built the jacket. Made darts and a bound buttonhole.

STARRY NIGHT DANCE COSTUME
Designed, drafted and graded the patterns, sourced the materials, built a small run of 12. Worked with sheer confetti dot mesh and interfacing.

Designed, drafted, graded, material sourced, and built a small run of four of these costumes. Worked with 2-way stretch knit and pleather.
Materials used: 2-way stretch knit and pleather.

Materials used: Cotton, interfacing, and silk lining.

SAUCER TUTU
Co-designed, drafted and graded the patterns, sourced the materials, built a small run of 12. Worked with 4-way stretch Lycra and metal wire.
